Please bear in mind that we are NOT a Uber Service but an Airport Shuttle. It’s a much larger vehicle (a Vito Bus) which can take 7 passengers and a lot more luggage. When necessary we also hook a trailer for Group Transfers.

Is a Pink Bus Bus Shuttle Trip Cheaper than Gautrain?
Yes most definitely. Our Mini Bus can take up to 7 Passengers with a lot of luggage. We charge ONE Rate for the Bus (Around R 1.250 to Pretoria East while you will need to pay about R 240 per person for a train trip? You will also need to take another train at Marlborough station. Transferring your luggage by hand from one platform to another (sometimes over a bridge) is NOT easy.

Will I be picked Up / Dropped off at my Home?
While the Pink Bus will Pick you up at your home and Drop you DIRECTLY at Departures, you will need to arrange additional transport to- or from the Gautrain Station at additional costs.

Trip Times?
The Gautrain departs on average every 20 minutes but First Train Trips in the mornings start at 05h06 and ends at 21h08 while The Pink Bus Airport Shuttle Pretoria will be ready to collect you at any time of the day or night.

Duration of Trips?
The Pink Bus will normally get you to your home in Pretoria East in about 45 minutes. The Gautrain trips take about 40 minutes to get to Hatfield station if there are no electrical cable thefts. Unfortunately you may need to wait up to 20 minutes for the next train while the Pink Bus will pick you up at the time you request. The Pink Bus will also wait for you at the Airport if your flight is delayed (this happens everyday).
